The features implemented to improve content accessibility include the following:
- (9.1.1.1) A comprehensive review of all meaningful images is underway to ensure the presence of appropriate alternative text (alt), making visual information accessible to users with visual impairments.
- (9.1.3.1) Structural elements such as headings, field groupings, lists, and tables are being audited to confirm that visual relationships are also correctly represented in the code.
- (9.1.3.3) The exclusive reliance on sensory characteristics such as colour, shape, or location is being eliminated, ensuring that accessible alternative descriptions are always provided.
- (9.1.4.1) Additional visual cues, such as underlines, icons, or explanatory text, are being added to ensure colour is not the only method used to convey information.
- (9.1.4.3) Both automated and manual tools are being used to verify that the contrast between text and background meets minimum readability standards.
- (9.1.4.4) The content is being tested to ensure that it can be zoomed up to 200% using browser functions without loss of functionality or information.
- (9.1.4.10) All designs are being validated to ensure that content adjusts properly to small screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling.
- (9.1.4.11) All graphic elements and non-textual controls are being reviewed to ensure sufficient contrast with the background to aid visual identification.
- (9.2.1.1) All interactive components are being adapted to ensure full keyboard operability, allowing navigation without the need for a mouse.
- (9.2.4.4) Link texts are being rewritten to be more descriptive and understandable without additional context.
- (9.6) The five conformance principles required under WCAG 2.2 Level AA are being met, ensuring that pages, processes, and technologies do not interfere with overall content accessibility.
